Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church was established in 2023 by Pastor Peter Otieno, after leaving the mainline Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya in 2019.
In 2023 Pastor Otieno connected with Pastor Sorensen and Pastor Zabel of the COELC. After many theological discussions Holy Cross became an associate member of the COELC in December 2023.
After rigorous theological examination and dialogue Holy Cross was officially welcomed into full membership of the COELC on Sunday March 10th 2024.
