Rev. Peter Otieno is the head pastor of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ahero, Kenya.
Peter Otieno was baptized and raised in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenya.
In 2019 Peter left the ELCK following another now independent pastor.
Rev. Otieno was ordained by said pastor on February 14th 2021.
Sadly in 2022 the two pastors would part ways and Rev. Otieno then began the Independent Lutherans in Africa.
Rev. Otieno and his congregation became associate members of the COELC in December 2023 and became full members of the COELC on March 10th 2024.
